 Keeps Breaking Down
This unit works---for a while.
Then, it breaks down. Getting it fixed is a major hassle, that is, finding someone to fix it.
Too loud for use in a bedroom.
Wouldn't recommend it.
 Overheating Problems
Avoid buying this unit. It costs a lot of money, is hard to install and only worked the first summer it was used.
After that, it began to overheat.
It's also noisy, especially when the compressor comes on. Enough to wake a person from sleeping. Besides,the controls are too complex to understand easily.
Customer Service from Windchaser? Don't count on it.
Don't Like Emptying Water
This unit looks nice and has a remote, but the water has to be emptied manually every few hours.
Beyond that, it's loud when the compressor is running.
