This air conditioner has a dual hose system. It cools rooms up to 400 sq. ft. with 12,000 BTUs.
There is a digital LED display and a remote control so you can control the unit from anywhere in the room.
There is an automatic 12 hour timer function, or the unit runs on a continuous cycle.
There is a 3 speed fan in the unit.
The carbon air filters collect large dust particles that help prevent bacteria and the filters ar easy to clean.

 Inadequate window covering (monica, 11/7/2008)
The unit came with only a small segment of PVC board to cover the open window with. I have had to create a make-shift cardboard covering to compensate.
My Delonghi unit, on the other hand, came with several feet of adjustable PVC board to fit any hight/width of window opening.
Terrible, Thumbs Down
The unit is a pain to install, especially the window kit. It doesn't fit well and you can't get it close enough to the window to work.
The instructions are impossible to understand.
The hose was only 3 ft long, not 5 ft, as advertised.
The electrical plug blocks the entire outlet.
The installation problems make this product a no-go even before you turn it on.
