 it failed 4 times by same reason (Leon K, 1/4/2011)
AC ARP-1008 purchased in September 2009.
December 2009- a plastic band fastening fan blades broke.
January 2010 - we submitted the unit to a warranty facility for repair
March 2009 - the plastic band fastening fan blades broke on the repaired unit, the unit was replaced by the new one
June 2010 - the plastic band fastening fan blades broke on the new unit.
July 2010 - the unit was replaced for the new one
August 2010 - the plastic band fastening fan blades broke on the new unit
September 2010 - we received "upgraded" model APR-4012 that does not produce any cool air.
It took a while to realize that, but according to the company policy we had only 30 days for return. After all they are asking to pay for the repair of the replacement unit.
THIS COMPANY HAS A TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. YOU CALL MANY TIMES TO REACH A CORRECT PERSON TO TALK. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS.
NEVER BUY THEIR PRODUCTS.
