 Long Time Friend for the Summer (Jsey, 6/25/2009)
I bought my unit in 2002 and it's still kicking and I have to say virtually now maintenance. Haven't even recharged the freon yet.
Reliable
It cools fine for the small room that needs it.
The filters can be hard to find.
This does not have a thermostat.
After 3 years, it's still cooling fine.
Well built and sturdy.
Takes about 10 minutes to cool down the large bedroom.
Don't mind the noise. Not excessive.
 Forget this one
It's noisy and it cycles all the time.
Would not recommend this.
A Let Down
Didn't like very much about this AC unit, but noisy, expensive and terrible service when you need it.
Plus shoddy workmanship.
