 works BUT (Jon, 6/24/2011)
don't even try to change the remote batteries...the remote is basically useless after the original batteries die. mine ended up in the garbage can after i tried to change them...remote is a poor design but overall i like this unit
 Pass This One By/Buy
This unit pooped out after 13 months.
It worked during the summer and then in the spring it bought the farm.
It leaked water and was noisy.
 Good Looking/Acting
This unit, with both heat and cooling capacity, works wonderfully.
Love the black color and sleek design.
The window installation panel leaves something to be desired, and the water tray is flimsy.
Heats and Cools Great
No problems with this after a year. Cools and heats great.
Really like the electronic touch controls, and the programmable timer, not to mention the remote.
Installation was easy.
Like the way it looks and the noise level was fine, no louder than a window unit.
