 Built-in breaker tends to trip often
The PLM14000E uses around 1,100 watts which is a lot of power for some home circuits but I believe my problem is caused by the breaker built into the unit's power cord itself. It seems to trip pretty often causing me to have to reset the breaker to continue. Annoying, but on the plus side this unit does know how to cool.
 Quiter than a Sunpentown unit of same BTU's
Portable air conditioners are LOUD - Louder than wall units since the entire unit is inside the room. However, I have to say that compared to a Sunpentown unit of the same 14,000 BTU's we used in my office, this one was quite a bit less noisy, which was nice.
 Not Happy Camper
Just could not get this unit to work well. Not much good to say about it.
Fan continues to run all the time.
Heavy and hard to move around. Just cumbersome.
There's no reading of the current room temp.
Exhaust hose gets warm.
