I live in Miami in a poorly insulated home. My upstairs bedroom (13x15) can easy reach 88 degrees with the house AC on full blast. I couldn't take it anymore and I went out and purchased this unit for $280 at BJ's. It was the cheapest one they had. It's small, a little noisy, but very powerful. I've managed to keep my room, a cool 75 degrees on a hot day. This thing is a life saver. The window kits is idiot proof and i got it set up in 5 minutes. Great buy!
